We are pleased that our founder Brigitte Söllinger has been awarded the Eduard Ploier Prize for valuable services as well as special commitment in development cooperation.
Since 2015, she has been leading the project “Child Vision Nepal”. Its goal is to protect girls from human trafficking in Indian brothels. Since its foundation in 2015, the association has helped over 200 children and their families. As an educator, the founder is also committed to providing Nepalese children and young people with access to education: among other things, a prison school for around 150 children of imprisoned mothers and a slum school with almost 100 pupils have already been built.
For this reason, the jury and Governor Stelzer decided to award Brigitte Söllinger for her valuable services and her special commitment to improving the living situation of women and children in Nepal.
